How Does It Work?

Learners complete all of their courses online. There are no real-time classes or set log-in times, allowing them to complete coursework around their schedules.

Instead of managing several courses at once, students focus on one or two subjects at a time.  As long as everything gets completed by the due date, it doesn’t matter when or where classes are completed.

Students also have a personal support team. They help learners stay on track and achieve their goals. High school students who meet all graduation requirements earn an accredited high school diploma from one of our school partners.

What Are the Program Qualifications?

To qualify, you must be:

  • An Oregon resident

  • Age 11–20 and eligible to enroll in grades 6–12 for the youth program. Students receiving special education services may qualify through age 21. In addition, students must be approved by your local school district and one of our district partners to attend — We'll contact the school(s) to ensure you qualify and help you enroll.

  • Age 22 or older for the adult program. The adult program has an incoming credit requirement. Our team will review your high school transcript to determine whether the program is a good fit. You do not need to know exactly how many credits you have before completing the form. Many adults who completed 10th grade or beyond may qualify. Some adults with fewer credits may still qualify based on documented work experience.

Whether you are looking for an online school option for your student or you are an adult ready to finish high school, there may be a program for you. Eligible Oregon residents can access online courses, certified teachers, and personalized support at no cost.

What is Graduation Alliance?

Students enrolled in the youth program also have access to a Student Advocate who is familiar with resources in their community and can help navigate any life challenges.
